UNICOSOFT takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This Privacy Policy describes what data we process when you visit this website, on what legal basis, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The data controller responsible for processing is Sebastian Kors, whose contact details are listed in the imprint above.

We process only the data that is strictly necessary to operate this website and to understand, on an aggregate level, how visitors use it. We do not use tracking cookies, we do not build visitor profiles, we do not run advertising, and we do not share data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Web Analytics with Plausible

To analyze the usage of our website, we use Plausible Analytics. Plausible is a privacy-friendly, GDPR-compliant web analytics solution that we host ourselves on our own servers (self-hosted). This means that no data ever leaves the infrastructure of UNICOSOFT.

Plausible does not use cookies and does not store any personal data. Only anonymous, aggregated statistics are collected, such as page views, time on site, and country of origin. It is not possible to identify individual visitors. Since no personal data is processed and no cookies are set, no consent is required under the GDPR.

Server Log Files

Every request to this website is recorded in standard web-server log files. Log entries include the requesting IP address, the HTTP method and path, the response status, the timestamp, the user-agent string, and the referring URL. We use these logs exclusively for technical diagnostics and to detect and investigate abuse. They are not combined with other data sources, not shared with third parties, and are routinely deleted after a short retention period.

The legal basis for processing server log files is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Job Applications

If you send application documents to the email address listed on the careers page, we process the personal data contained in your application solely for the purpose of the recruitment process. If no employment contract is concluded, application documents are deleted no later than six months after the selection process ends, unless legal retention obligations or legitimate interests (for example, a potential legal dispute under the German General Equal Treatment Act, AGG) require otherwise. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR in conjunction with § 26 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
